Highlight-

  • High-quality peanuts are sourced from Kegaon, Maharashtra
  • Made in wooden Ghani
  • It is unrefined, no additives are used

Brief -

It is cold-pressed which means it is pressed under 45° C. Made in a wooden Ghani, an extraction technique that is timeless, keeping the nutrients locked in. It is widely used for frying, sauteing and simply adding flavour.

What makes Jivika peanut oil different from regular peanut oil?

Regular peanut oil is usually refined using heat and chemical solvents, which strips away its natural flavour and nutrients. Ours is cold-pressed just peanuts, pressed mechanically, with nothing added or taken away.

    What does "cold-pressed" actually mean?

It means the oil is extracted using pressure alone, without heating it above 45°C or using chemical solvents. This keeps the oil closer to its natural state richer in flavour and nutrition.

Where are the peanuts sourced from?

Our peanuts are sourced from Maharashtra, one of India's key peanut-growing regions, and cold/wood-pressed using the traditional Ghani method - no heat, no chemicals, just pure mechanical extraction that keeps the oil's natural flavour and nutrients intact.

What kind of cooking can I use this oil for frying, sautéing, tadka?

All of it. It has a high smoke point, so it's stable for deep frying, sautéing, and tempering alike and its natural nutty aroma adds extra flavour to dals, curries, and fried snacks.

Can I use peanut oil for deep frying?

Yes. Its high smoke point makes it suitable for deep frying, sautéing and tempering.

Is Jivika Peanut Oil lab tested for purity?

Yes. Jivika Peanut Oil is lab tested for purity, giving you confidence in its quality.

    How does this oil taste?

It has a naturally nutty flavour and aroma that adds a subtle richness to everyday dishes, especially Indian cooking.

What all does Jivika Peanut Oil get lab tested for?

Every batch is tested at an NABL-ACCREDITED laboratory across 260+ PARAMETERS: Chemical purity - Acid Value, Peroxide Value, Argemone oil contamination Heavy metals - Lead, Arsenic, Mercury, Cadmium Pesticide residues - 235+ compounds AFLATOXIN B1 - peanuts are especially prone to contamination when poorly stored, and Jivika tests every batch to rule it out RESIDUAL HEXANE - proven absent in every bottle of Jivika Peanut Oil
